Stefflon Don Shares Release Date, Cover And Tracklist For Debut Album ‘Island 54’
Two mixtapes into her career, British Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don will finally release her debut album, Island 54, on June 14 via 54 LDN/BMG.
The album will sonically lean towards Afrobeats and Dancehall, with the title being a nod to Stefflon’s Caribbean heritage and the 54 countries that make up Africa.
“Island 54 is a dream that you do not want to wake up from,” Stefflon said in a release to DancehallMag. “A futuristic private island. An island that will put you in awe. An island that is magical and can only make you feel high vibrational frequencies. The music on the album represents the unforgettable vibes the island will be giving you: A perfect fusion between Dancehall and Afro.”
The 20-track project’s guest list includes Reggae/Dancehall singer Buju Banton and artist/producer BEAM. Dweet, the Banton collaboration, is said to exemplify “Stefflon Don’s trademark heavy-hitting Jamaican sound that has become her signature over the years.” The album will also include the previously released single What’s Poppin’ with BNXN.

I’ve never dropped an album before so I do hope after it launches people will really realise that I really am an all-around artist.”
