Bounty Killer Says He Personally Manages His Social Media Accounts

Bounty Killer has revealed the reason he has opted to personally manage his Instagram accounts.

Speaking in a recent interview on Joy Daily TV, the Warlord affirmed that unlike some artists who might delegate this task, for him, handling his own social media has given him the advantage of direct engagement and a deeper connection with his fanbase, as well as a better understanding of their musical expectations and demands.

Without this hands-on approach, he argues, he would not be in tune with the pulse of his audience, as this is lost when artists rely on others to manage their social media interactions.

“When you have artist who have people running their page, they don’t know what their fans saying. Someone have to tell you what your fans saying. When you on the stage you really have to serve the fans. So you should know exactly what your ‘patient’ need,” the Love is Lovely artist stated.

Bounty Killer is well-known for his active presence on Instagram, where he frequently reads and replies to comments from his fans, engages in debates, and even bickers with them on occasion.

However, according to him, he is generally not a fanatic of social media, but nevertheless, he uses his pages to demonstrate to his fans his commitment to maintaining a personal touch.

“I don’t pay attention to social media. I pay attention to my social media. I don’t give a eff what going on on social media, but what’s going on on my page is very important to me. Because, that’s where my fans interact with me and they tell me exactly how they feel and what impact the music making. And then I know how to cook up what I’m cooking up, so my page is very important,” he said.

Bounty Killer has operated two Instagram pages since late 2019. This was after his verified Instagram account, Grunggaadzilla, which at the time boasted more than 400,000 followers, was hacked and renamed “Enes Denier” in November of that year.

The hacker had deleted all of Bounty’s photos and content, replacing them with posts selling shoes.

As a result of this incident, Bounty had created a second Instagram account, @1unogeneral (which he still maintains) to inform his fans about the hacking and clarify the situation.

During the Joy Daily interview, the New Gun artist also pointed out that despite his active engagement on his own pages, he remains selective about the content he consumes on social media, ignoring gossipmongering, but paying some attention to bloggers and vloggers who produce quality, constructive content.

“In general, I don’t really care what’s on social media cause is mostly propaganda and gossip on social media. You got a few good site and a good few good vloggers who come with good content and positive uplifting mek-sense content, but most time it’s just word of mouth and ‘what said’ and gossip. I see them but I don’t care,” he said.

“I don’t pay attention. I seen them cuz they come up on the feed but I’m not gonna to scroll and pay attention and go listen to negative foolishishness. If it’s anything interesting, then I look and listen,” the Seaview Gardens native added.
