Ce’Cile, Christopher Martin’s Daughter Passes for Immaculate Conception High School
Celebration is in the air for artists Ce’Cile and Christopher Martin whose daughter Christiyana will be attending the Immaculate Conception High School come September.
The prestigious secondary school was the first choice for Christiyana, more popularly known as the athletic creative behind the Rock By Nana brand.
An overjoyed Ce’Cile shared the news with her social media followers on the weekend.
“On the first day of PEP exam, @rockbynana wrote this: ‘WE ARE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS,’” Ce’Cile wrote. “She told me, ‘Mommy, I got this’. Now, here we are!! Her 1st choice, IMMACULATE HIGH, here we come. It took a village!!!”
The Nah Stress Over Man singjay proceeded to thank that village, with her child’s father atop the list.
“@iamchrismartin Thank you for saying yes to everything that we have asked for,” she wrote. “U seldom question, rarely ask why or what for…. you just do and that’s half the battle.”
The pair called it quits in 2014 after four years of dating.
Ce’Cile’s extensive thank-you list also included Christiyana’s sixth-grade teacher, a private math tutor, a home tutor, and various family members and friends.
The feat, however, came with a few requests. The artist told her daughter that if she passed her exams, she would roll out the big guns for her birthday in August. Needless to say, the young gymnast delivered pages of options, from Apple devices and tickets to see SZA, to Nike sneakers and girly perfumes.
Somewhere between Ce’Cile’s back-to-back posts came comments about putting one’s child on the unforgiving streets of social media. The entertainer entertained the discussion, underscoring that all things have pros and cons.
“While I understand the argument that evil exists I cannot entertain the darkness of others!” she shared in a post on Wednesday. “I have always lived in LIGHT and will forever do that. Imagine a world where our little ones didnt see the Light of Shelly Ann F. , USAIN B and all the others. How hard they worked to get where they are. Whether it be tracks or swimming or music. Or the many others who shone. Imagine seeing where USAIN started and then seeing what he became.”
She continued, “I prefer to see light and growth and things that motivate me.”
She encouraged followers to take a page from her book and undulate towards positivity.
“Big up all hard working parents! Big up all hard working kids. Let’s continue to motivate, to inspire, to achieve. Continue to work hard. Believe me it’s not easy! Let’s continue to share the blessings, each one help one, pass the light around and let’s dwell on SHINING BRIGHT!”
