Shenseea To Assist St. Elizabeth Residents Affected By Hurricane Beryl

Jamaican artist Shenseea, along with members of her team including co-manager Romeich Major, will be lending a hand to residents in St. Elizabeth who were badly affected by Major Hurricane Beryl this week.

 The Blessed singer posted clips from the Romeich Entertainment Headquarters in Kingston, where care packages and building supplies were seen being loaded into a truck.

“Guys, we’re loading up the truck to come to St. Elizabeth tomorrow. We a come help who we can help, OK?” Shenseea said in an Instagram story.

Romeich noted that they sourced tarpaulin, ply board, work/water boots, machetes, and so on to help with the restoration process.

There will also be food supplies for the families, including snacks for children.

On his IG page, Romeich provided more context for the initiative by listing the sponsorship they attained. He made it clear that he wanted to provide practical solutions for the victims.

“Team a pack up some things to go St Elizabeth tomorrow to help how best we can. Not waiting on anybody to help me country no matter how small it is we ago help!!!” he wrote, adding that Shenseea is heading the outreach, along with his brand major marketing, food brands and hardwares.

It is no secret that Shenseea, whose given name is Chinsea Lee feels moved to help the people of ‘St Bess.’ The singer, born in the neighboring parish Manchester, spent a few years of her childhood in St. Elizabeth and then moved to Kingston.

Her kind gesture is being well received by social media followers.

“That’s why yuh prosper suh clean heart and always giving @shenseea,” one user commented.

“If I love you one more time. Your bread basket will never go empty. Big up yourself,” added another.

One more user said: “This is how people should use their connections. Great work @romeichentertainment @shenseea.”

Category 4 Major Hurricane Beryl claimed two lives during its passage along the south coast of Jamaica, with a 10-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man still missing.
