Buju Banton Concerts In Five U.S. Cities Rescheduled, But Not Cancelled
News emerged over the weekend that several shows on Buju Banton’s Overcomer Tour have been rescheduled.
The Til Shiloh singer announced that five September dates have been rescheduled: Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Inglewood, and Chicago.
“I would like to inform you that the Overcomer Tour is not canceled! I can’t wait to see you all! Please note that we will be rescheduling the dates in Phoenix, AZ, Inglewood, CA, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, and Chicago, IL,” Gargamel said via his verified Instagram account.
The Buju shared a poster of his tour as he attempted to set the record straight, captioning it: “The Overcomer Tour is on, and there will be no cancellations. Shiloh Band and I are looking forward to an incredible time with all of you! We’re overcoming and I’m coming over!”
The first date of Buju Banton’s North American Overcomer Tour kicks off on August 23 in Fort Lauderdale.
Buju’s tour comes on the heels of two sold-out shows, with over 36,000 concertgoers at the UBS arena in New York, last month.
The Overcomer Tour opens, as initially planned, on August 23 at Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The original dates in Atlanta, Georgia, and Hartford, Connecticut are scheduled for September.
The other dates in August are Tampa; Washington, DC; and Boston.
