Arrow Don Defends The Appeal Of The ‘Voxy’

The link between luxury cars and dancehall artists is inescapable, with young rhyme slingers dropping lines about models like the Toyota Mark X, the Toyota Crown, everyone’s favourite German brand, the BMW, and of course, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 SUV, the fabled ‘Beast’.

But it is unusual for a dancehall artist to praise…of all things, the Voxy. Dancehall artist Arrow Don is swimming against the tide, extolling the virtues of the 7-seater multipurpose car with his latest release of the predictably titled, “Voxy.”

The middle-aged dancehall artist bucks the trend of bigging up an ultra-luxury car, which can blow the socks off most people talking about the ultra-conservative, boxy Voxy.

“This song is about regular people who don’t have money to buy expensive things but they do the best with what they can afford,” Arrow Don said.

Produced by LK Records, the track was officially released on July 6, 2024. 


Arrow Don is gaining new fans and listeners with an infectious Baby Wayne-like flow and catchy, humorous lyrics, “Voxy”. He hopes that the song can be his breakthrough hit for Arrow Don, as it has already been well-received by fans.

“The feedback for the song has been great so far. My goal is for it to go mainstream and I’m really excited to see how far it will go because the high-energy beat taps into the timeless old school Dancehall sound,” the artiste expressed.
