LA Lewis Signs Brand Ambassador Deal With Swift Car Rental

LA Lewis has signed a one-year brand ambassador deal worth $10 million with Swift Car Rental, one of Jamaica’s top vehicle rental companies.

The deal marks a significant move for Lewis, known for his bold claims and larger-than-life personality. For Swift Car Rental, partnering with LA allows them to tap into his fan base and public persona. Lewis is known for his social media antics, distinctive graffiti tags, and controversial statements, all of which have kept him in the public eye for years.

Swift Car Rental provides vehicles for both locals and tourists with a fleet of cars that includes economical models and luxury vehicles.

Operations Manager at Swift Car Rentals Bjorn Silvera explained at the official press conference last Friday at the company’s Kingston Corporate office that signing L.A. Lewis was a bit of serendipity as he brainstormed who to use as his company’s ambassador.

“As I asked the question, the emperor walked in almost like a savior, and it occurred to us, why not use the emperor? It was as if God sent him so we are very happy to have him being a partner with Swift Car rentals. LA Lewis is a brand itself and a very big brand as well and not just a local brand but an international brand so it was a no brainer to sign him,” he declared.

Lewis, who is no stranger to collaborations with businesses, has previously partnered with other local brands, leveraging his polarizing personality to generate buzz and increase visibility.
