Quick Cook Sparkles At ‘Time Too Hard’ Club Show In Toronto

Dancehall artist Quick Cook delivered a high-energy performance at a club show dubbed ‘Time Too Hard’ in Toronto, Canada, last Friday night.

Dressed in a black hoodie with white stripes on the sleeves and a green bag on his back, Quick Cook sent a surge of excitement through the crowd like an electric current.

He started off his set with ‘Game Over’ on the Good Book rhythm which got immediate forwards from the crowd. He then segued into ‘Money Ah the Target’ and he got the crowd moving with his powerful lyrics.

After asking the crowd ‘where were the skankers?’, Quick Cook launched into an energetic rendition of ‘Active’ while host-singjay Ziddy Boo and a male dancer joined him onstage and showed off the Dip, Willy Bounce and Gully Creeper.

Quick Cook had to pull up the ‘Active’ song about three times and he had the phone lights flickering when he went into the crowd and danced with a hottie in a yellow skirt.

Quick Cook closed his set on a powerful note, as he segued neatly into a conscious song,, ‘People Heart Dirty’. He got a forward for the lines: caan trust dem a Jamaica/Caan trust dem abroad/ dem no waan see yu inna Benz/dem waan see yu down a morgue.

Dancehall artist Debbie Burp also performed at the show.

Quick Cook is doing a number of other shows in Canada as he continues his ‘Active’ club tour. The ‘Active’ video is his biggest streaming hit, racking up over 520,000 views on YouTube since its release.
