The gospel music fraternity has continued to rally to gospel singer Lt. Stitchie’s aid as members of the Jamaica Gospel Music Industry handed over funds raised at the “Hearts and Hands Benefit Concert for Stitchie” held in October.

The organizers, radio broadcasters Nadine Blair and Markland ” Action ” Edwards, presented a cheque in the amount of $611,646.00 to his wife, Mrs. Sophia Laing, and his manager, Mr. Raffique “Ali” Archibald, during a worship service last Sunday at The New Testament Church of God, 65 Waltham Park Road. Gospel singer Prince Hall was also among those present.

The concert, held at the same location, had featured over 15 gospel artists, including Jermaine Edwards, Sebastian Braham, Goddy Goddy, Junior Tucker, Sis. Patt, Johnmark Wiggan, and Jai Kingston, who gave their time and ministry free of cost.

The sound and video crew came on board and offered their service free to aid in the call to collect funds to help with the rehabilitation work for Cleve “Stitchie” Laing.

The event was planned by Markland Edwards, Sebastian Braham, Prince Hall and Nadine Blair in less than two weeks and proved a true success by God’s help and the kind assistance of the host church at Waltham Park New Testament.

A GoFundMe was launched over a month ago by Stitchie’s family to raise funds to offset his medical expenses as he’s currently in a medical facility receiving treatment.

A SpurrOpen.com/forStitchie account is also active for those who would like to donate to Stitchie.
