Popcaan Reacts To Sister Unruly Squid’s Teasing About Joining OnlyFans
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced Jamaican entertainers, and it seems their siblings to find new and innovative ways of keeping fans satisfied. Well, that’s at least for one family in dancehall.
In some interesting news, Popcaan’s sister Annalecia Sutherland, who is most popularly known on social media as Unruly Squid, has hinted that she’s considering doing a few private sessions on the OnlyFans platform. Squid made the revelation through a racy post on Instagram yesterday, June 11th.
In a very sexy photo, Squid teased her fans with the caption: “Entertainment business nah keep me a go join onlyfans yaah man!.” In the photo, she is seen in black lingerie and very short pants in a seductive pose.
Popcaan immediately responded to the post and jokingly commented: “what is this” and tagged Unruly Cuz as he tried to understand what was being proposed.
It looked like it was all in good fun as she responded to Popcaan, asking him to give her some space and let her do her thing. She responded: “pops Lowe mi nuh cho!!!!”
Squid has worked alongside her brother overseeing the running of Unruly Entertainment for the last four years. In 2019, she also became the manager for popular dancehall artiste Chronic Law.
She told the Jamaica Star, in April, “The role of an artiste manager is extremely diverse. One of the biggest misconceptions is that it is an easy job and we never document the difficult times – the sweat and tears – in our efforts to put the best out there for the people, the fans.”
She added, “I’m a firm believer in female empowerment. We have to build a stronger network in order to uplift each other. It is always more of a challenge for us as we have to balance the home, the children, and still get the job done, but we do it nonetheless … the goal is to always stay focused,” she said.
“As it relates to equality, I believe that women have always had to work twice as hard as men, so there really is no equality. But I see where the industry has been embracing more young women and I look forward to seeing more talented females coming forward.”
Fans got the humor between Popcaan and Squid and responded with encouraging words of their own. One fan did question how dancehall producer NotNice, with whom Squid shares a child, would feel about the proposed career change.
“Wait deh whe notnice say bout this ????,” they said.
Only Fans has grown in popularity and is a British based content subscription service. Content creators earn their money from users who subscribe to their content and become “fans.” What’s more is that its popularity lies in the adult entertainment industry, even though it features several types of hosts from other genres, such as physical fitness experts.
Many have been using it during the pandemic because it allows content creators to receive funding directly from their fans on a monthly basis, as well as on tips and the pay-per-view (PPV).
To date, some well-known celebrities like Blac Chyna, The-Dream, and Safaree Samuels have uploaded content to the platform.
So far, one dancehall artiste Ishawna has revealed that she used the platform, and she even created a song for it titled, “ Only Fans”.
One thing is for sure if Unruly Squid does decide to do OnlyFans, she’ll definitely rake in the cash.
