Gold Gad Responds To Being Trolled On Twitter
Fast-rising dancehall artist Gold Gad is the latest victim of trolling after being implicated in a viral video on social media.
Popular Twitter blogger, RONJM, posted a video of a failed robbery with the caption “Son of popular dancehall artist GoldGod Grabbed Gold Chain in half way tree”. The clip shows a man lying on the ground being chided by a member of the crowd saying “yuh father ah big artist yute!”
However, the Client Convo deejay eventually caught up with the story and wasted no time in reacting with “Wah Di b********t, since when mi get ute?”

Gold Gad is an expert at online shenanigans himself, hosting a wildly popular and raunchy IG live series that draws at least 200K supporters at any given time. The explicit “virtual exotic club” has earned Gold Gad a reputation for trending and an audience of dedicated diehards.
“Dancehall is slack and it’s beautiful. Me a add to it and mi glad mi a add to it because the girl dem like it and the man dem love it.,” Gold Gad recently told the Star. “People love slackness. Is all about sex at the end of the day. Yuh affi work wid di time and weh di time a go. COVID forward and take over the whole place so weh else deh deh fi do? A party pan Instagram a run now so mi affi go straight to a virtual club.”
RONJM no doubt noted Gold Gad’s current clout and conveniently pegged him as the mystery ‘artist’ in the viral video.
Gold Gad’s own retweet of the unfortunate fiasco racked up over 400 retweets and several comments, most of which pointed out that the thief even appeared to be Gold Gad’s age.
One fan said, “Jah jah but you nuh big artist g? Lol you the trending boss right now no artist no big like you RIGHT NOW”, while another quipped “Man a sharpe shooter look how old the son be”.
Another who joked that the robber and the Mula deejay didn’t even bear the slightest resemblance added with plenty of laughing emojis, “Wait a mf min @realgoldgad is a Tuxedo or jacket dis … Not even The Thrift Shop a gi dem weh suh cheap.. free jacket and tux no tie.”
