Ramona Samuels is a Media Maven who has worked in multiple areas of Jamaica’s entertainment industry. She is best known for her head-turning voice as a stage personality, and founder of The Voicebox. Her creative skills and talent have given her a presence across several disciplines as a media practitioner. This includes working as a TV presenter, TV producer, radio presenter, radio producer, disc jock, writer, and journalist. Before employment in media, Ramona formed her own business service The Voicebox in 2010, offering advertisers and businesses first-world voice over production for their commercials, narrations, film introductions, and live stage personality for major events on the island. Her strong work ethic and sound entrepreneurial expertise have cemented her as a consultant for aspirants in media, entertainment, and voice acting. She is known by colleagues and friends to be extremely passionate about her work, brand, and business. Ramona has advocated for children as the respected founder of Jamaica's nation-jerking movement, Excuse Me Driver which she formed in 2018, spreading awareness about the impact of explicit music in public spaces around impressionable young minds, in addition to rallying for the upgrade of lyrical content in Dancehall music.
